TAED FOUNDATION SUPPORTS CATHOLIC EDUCATION UNIT
As part of promoting sustainability in education, TAED Foundation collaborated with the Catholic Education Unit to donate school furniture to the winners of the Brain Battle National STEM Championship held among Catholic Basic Schools in Ghana. Out of the top twelve Science Projects shortlisted by the judges of the final contest, Akatsi Roman Catholic JHS scored the highest points and became the nation Champions of the Science Project category of the 2021/2022 edition of the Brain Battle National STEM Championship. As a reward for their wonderful performance, TAED Foundation supported the Catholic Education Unit of Ghana with fifty (50) sets of medium end mono desks.
The donation was done by TAED foundation, through the Catholic Education Unit – Ghana. The staff of the school warmly received the delegation of the Catholic Education Unit at the Akatsi RC JHS and then both parties proceeded to the presentation of the gifts.
The school administration received the gifts on behalf of the entire school and expressed their appreciation for the gifts and assured the delegation that the donation would serve as motivation to encourage the students to do more than they had previously done.
With the donated desks, a full classroom was set for students to have a comfortable learning environment. The students expressed their appreciation and together with the Headmistress, offered a word of prayer for their benefactors, which concluded the donation program at Akatsi RC JHS.
